This is the prayer and intercession blog for Bury Christian Fellowship. It's here to encourage prayer, in particular intercession for those who do not yet know Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
You can add prayer requests by leaving a comment against the latest blog item - However please remember this blog is in the public domain - so I suggest you refer to non BCF members by initials only, in order to help maintain people's privacy. To encourage folks it would be good if people also posted answers to prayer as comments too.
Each week I will be posting a prayer prompt to help guide people through the process of intercession for their friends, family colleagues etc. These prayer prompts provide a framework for intercession in a sutained and methodical way - it's not a replacement for being Spirit led, nor a "magic bullet" that will work just because you have mindlessley followed the prompts. it simply provides a scriptural outline to work within, to help each one of us focus on hearing God as we pray for those around us.
I'd love to hear your comments, suggestions and success stories...or shouts for help, if you find you are struggling with intercession.
