Learning from the prayer warriors of the past No1

I've been enjoying being inspired to pray by reading up on the lives of great men an women of prayer, so I thought I'd include some quotations and other snippets to encourage you, the first is a quote from George Müller

"It is not enough to begin to pray, nor to pray aright; nor is it enough to continue for a time to pray; but we must patiently, believingly, continue in prayer until we obtain an answer; and further we have not only to continue in prayer unto the end, but we have also to believe that God does hear us, and will answer our prayers. Most frequently we fail in not continuing in prayer until the blessing is obtained, and in not expecting the blessing." George Müller

George
was an incredible man of faith and prayer who achieved some astounding things in his lifetime, you can read some of his story here and here

Let's seek to learn from him, and to seek out what we should pray for and then persists in praying for it until we have an answer. If you will, you may be confident that many more great things will be achieved for Father's glory!
